I roam the woods in awe and wonder with bare feet and my heart full with nature’s bountiful plunder. My feet frolic on softly cushioned trails, if stones and pebbles show there spikes , I trust them to be brave and bear their plight. I lose myself in clouds and fields, gazing afar and also close.
I often stop to marvel at Mother Nature’s generous delights, to my far travelled ears, the bird’s playful chirping is as intoxicating as it sounds exotic. I study magnificently shaped wildflowers of soothingly rich scent and wonderfully alien looking bugs, ever more becoming not only a believer but vow to follow Mother Nature’s call more respectfully.
When I find a spot that calls out to me, I’d be amiss to ignore it, so I stop to sit and meditate. My heart’s bursting open, my mind at ease, spirit’s roaming free and I find solace and joyful peace whilst I sit with a smile beneath a tree. 🙂
