I’ve spent all of my winters but one away from Europe since I dedicated my life to explore the wonders of the world, little and colossal, both within me and around me. Therefore I consider myself really fortunate to manage to exclude myself for the commercialization that seems to culminate in a particular horrid shade of wretchedness around this season.
Far removed in mind and person I’m able to concentrate and reflect on the past year, be grateful for the many highs of but ever more so for having possessed the fortitude to surpass the lows that inescapably weave themselves into our lives every now and then.
A life spent travelling blooms brightly and intensely in more ways possible to detail here but might be explored in a future post. Looking back I’m reminded of a myriad things but mostly that it’s easier to love the life you’re living if you live the life you’re loving.
Whatever your creed or belief, everybody could use a little more joy and tranquillity, infused with generous sunshine. Here’s a little over a minute of it. My gift for you – Enjoy!
Bless you all and HAPPY HOLIDAYS! 🙂
